This is an exciting time for MobileMD. We are in the midst of preparing for our annual Users' Group meeting to be held in Philadelphia on November 5th. With an outstanding response from our clients, we anticipate a dynamic environment and exchange of ideas and experiences. We will discuss, among many topics, industry direction and MobileMD product improvements critical to support the evolving standards and definitions emanating from various industry organizations as well as governmental agencies such as the ONC.

I also anticipate extensive discussions regarding the intersection between health system exchanges, Regional Health Information Organizations (RHIOs), and the National Health Information Network (NHIN). To that end, in this edition's "Tech Specs" you can read a bit about MobileMD's position and strategy regarding NHIN gateway integration.

Lastly, I am pleased to announce the release of MobileMD's HIE version 3.2. This release brings with it numerous enhancements to our web-based application, Enterprise Access. The enhancements have been designed to improve the user experience while increasing opportunities for secure patient health information sharing. The benefits are substantial. I'm confident our improvements will lead to more intuitive usability and improved secure communications, which translates to increased adoption (which has already been very good), even more seamless information sharing, and ultimately better care at a lower cost.
